Cookie Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device when you visit it, used to remember information between pages or between visits. In this policy we use “cookies” broadly, including equivalent technologies such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), which the law treats the same way.
2. Who is responsible
Valensa Consulting LLC, 407 Lincoln Road, Suite 12N, Miami Beach, FL 33139, United States, operating from the European Union (Portugal). Contact: info@valensaconsulting.com.
3. Cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (no consent required)
These are essential for the site to work. Without them you could not stay signed in or keep your preferences. They are always set, in line with the ePrivacy exemption for cookies strictly necessary to provide the service you requested.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
token / session | First party · localStorage | Keep you signed in to the client dashboard. | Until sign-out |
br_lang | First party · localStorage | Remember the language you chose. | Persistent |
br_consent, br_consent_at | First party · localStorage | Remember your decision about this policy and when you made it, so we do not ask again. | Persistent |
3.2 Advertising and measurement (only with your consent)
These are set only if you click Accept on the cookie notice. They let us know which ads bring real visits so we do not waste budget on the ones that do not work. If you refuse them the site works exactly the same: you see the same content and can generate your report normally.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Meta pixel: identify the browser in order to attribute a visit or a sign-up to the Instagram or Facebook ad that produced it, and measure our campaign results. | 3 months |
_fbc | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Store the identifier of the specific ad you clicked (fbclid), for the same purpose. | 3 months |
_ga | Google Ireland Ltd. | Google Analytics 4: tell one visitor from another, so we can count how many distinct people visit us and what path they follow through the site. | 2 years |
_ga_V2RXHXR7PW | Google Ireland Ltd. | Google Analytics 4: keep the session state, so that a single visit is not counted as several. | 2 years |
More information in Meta's Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
4. What we do not do
We do not use cookies to profile your behaviour beyond the advertising measurement described above, we do not sell or share your browsing data with third parties for commercial purposes, and we do not set any advertising cookie before you give us permission.
5. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies rely on the ePrivacy exemption for requested services and on the legitimate interest basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Advertising and measurement cookies are processed solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous.
6. International transfers
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and Google Ireland Ltd. may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which both are certified, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How to change or withdraw your decision
You can change your mind whenever you want, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it:
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Note that blocking the necessary ones may stop the dashboard from working.
8. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to info@valensaconsulting.com. You may also lodge a complaint with our lead supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, Portugal), or with your local authority. See the detail in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the cookies we use or the applicable law change. If we add a new purpose requiring consent, we will ask you again. The current version is always on this page.
